Lori Harvey is a 24-year-old American model and actress born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1997 to Marjorie Elaine Harvey and Donnell Woods. While she was not raised by her biological father, Lori Harvey refers to her stepfather Steve Harvey as her sole father figure. As the stepdaughter to an actor, comedian, and television host, Lori understood the world of Hollywood from a young age.
She’s walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana and has participated in modeling campaigns for Chanel, Calvin Klein, and many more. Her modeling career began when she was just three years old, through the guidance of her mother. Marjorie Harvey worked as a fashion designer, and through this, Lori was able to learn the ins and outs of the fashion world.
Lori Harvey – more than a just model
At an early age, Lori Harvey began modeling, but she had another passion. At age 5, she was a competitive equestrian, winning several awards and landing herself a spot in the junior leagues. Lori Harvey’s dad, Steve Harvey, doted about her success on his talk show, bringing her on the show and wearing her first place ribbon in front of the audience.
Lori Harvey had a natural talent for the sport and was destined for a great equine career until she suffered a serious injury in 2015.
In a rare 2020 interview with Madamenoire, Lori Harvey spoke on her equestrian past and how it led her to pursue her modeling career.
“I used to ride horses competitively. I did show jumping so that’s what I wanted to do for my career. I wanted to ride competitively. I wanted to go to the Olympics. I had this whole plan and then I think when I was 18, I got into a really bad accident. I tore my ACL and broke my lower back. So that was kind of the end of my riding career. So then I went back into modeling.”
Lori Harvey’s modeling career took off in 2017, when she signed with LA models in the US and Select Model Management overseas in Europe.
Lori Harvey also has a huge fan following on Instagram with a whopping 3.5 million followers. She earns most of her income from modeling and endorsing different brands on her social media account.
In light of the Black Lives Matter movement, Lori has also used her platform for good by speaking out against police brutality.

In 2020, Lori Harvey became the envy of women around the world when she announced her relationship with Michael B. Jordan. The 24-year-old model is not a stranger to dating men in the public eye, from Sean Diddy Combs to the rapper Future, her dating record is quite impressive. In November of 2020, Lori Harvey fell for PEOPLE Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” and we really can’t blame her.
The pair was rumored to be dating in November of 2020, but they did not become Instagram official until January of 2021.
The relationship has been getting serious, according to multiple sources, and the couple is all smiles on Lori’s Instagram.
Even Lori Harvey’s step-dad, Steve Harvey, seems to approve of the couple. Steve Harvey told Ellen Degeneres that despite his best efforts, he can’t seem to find anything wrong with Lori Harvey’s new boyfriend Michael B. Jordan.

In a recent Instagram post, Lori Harvey announced her collaboration with the brand “Naked Wardrobe,” where she helped design everything from sweatpants to crop tops.
