It seems David “Puck” Rainey deserves his reputation as reality TV’s quintessential bad boy. While his antics on Real World: San Francisco were mainly just irritating, Puck has been languishing in a jail cell for the past two months.
On March 2 Puck was pulled over for a traffic stop by Cal State University Northridge officers, who then discovered that there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court. Last June Puck was arrested on suspicion of two felonies, domestic violence and violating a restraining order, following an altercation with his wife Betty. He’s accused of failing to show up for a court date in connection with the case.
Puck’s bail was set at $225,000, but he’s been unable to come up with the money. He remains in the Van Nuys County Jail, where he’s giving his cellmate a taste of what it was like to be on the first reality series.
