Here’s a little Gossip Girl gossip for you …
A spin-off show that centers around Serena’s mom Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Dan’s dad Rufus (Matthew Settle) might be in the works.
Producers are slow to confirm, but an insider tells Star: “The show will focus on the early romance between Lily and Rufus. It begins when they first meet, during a time when Rufus and his band are at the height of their career. The show will follow the high society and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle in New York.”

The younger Lily and Rufus will be introduced as a flashback in an upcoming episode and will be played by younger actors. Rutherford and Settle will remain on Gossip Girl.
