If you were walking along the beach and stumbled across a 40-foot dragon skull, you’d be a bit freaked out, right? Well, that’s exactly what you’ll see if you’re in the U.K. and wandering along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
In a huge ploy to publicize that Game of Thrones Season 3 is now available on Blinkbox, a U.K. VOD service, a gigantic dragon skull modeled after dragons from the HBO series was plopped on the beach. Blinkbox drew its inspiration from a monumental scene in which Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) uncovers a dragon skull in the dungeons of Kings Landing.
Although it’s customary to spot fossils along the Jurassic Coast – hence its erie name – we highly doubt anyone’s come across a fossil of this proportion… until now, that is! To get more of a glimpse at the gigantic dragon head, check out the behind-the-scenes video of how the fossil was created above.
