Jordan Peele’s most recent horror film, Nope, is headed to theaters on July 22, 2022, and we can’t wait! This science-fiction horror film is the most recent addition to Monkeypaw Productions and is written, directed, and produced by Jordan Peele. Here is everything we know about the upcoming movie.
Horror master Jordan Peele directs this sci-fi thriller
Jordan Peele began his career as an actor. He was a comedian on Mad TV for five seasons and was known for his celebrity impressions. Then, Jordan Peele was nominated in 2008 for an Emmy for a parody song he wrote about the 50 Cent and Kanye West feud. He had a recurring role on the Adult Swim series Childrens Hospital as well as the FX anthology series Fargo. He played a supporting role in the film Wanderlust.
Back in his Mad TV days, he was cast with Keegan-Michael Key often due to their on-screen chemistry. This couldn’t be more true. They later teamed up for a Comedy Central series called Key & Peele, which created several skits that went viral online. The two also starred in and produced Keanu in 2016.
However, if you don’t know him from Key & Peele, you probably know his directorial work. In 2017, he released his first film titled Get Out. It immediately got acclaim; it became one of Time’s top 10 films of the year, scored a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, and won Best Original Screenplay at the 90th Academy Awards. His second film Us was also successful at the box office. Jordan Peele’s horror style has viewers at the edge of their seats and leaving the theater with a lot to talk about.

The marketing for the film has been purposefully elusive regarding what the film is actually about though. Promotional marketing has created suspense, but also kept the plot secret, which leaves a lot of people wondering if there is more to Nope than meets the eye.
