To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Home Alone, 20th Century Fox and UberEATS have teamed up to deliver the fictional pizza from the Macaulay Culkin classic. Whether you’re with friends or home alone (see what we did there?) you can use the UberEATS app to order a cheese pizza from Little Nero’s Pizza. That’s right, “a lovely cheese pizza, just for me.”
On Friday November 6th, Uber drivers in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco will be outfitted with Little Nero’s hats and pizza boxes and will deliver pies from local pizzerias including Numero 28 Pizzeria in New York, The Doughroom in Los Angeles, Big G’s Pizza in Chicago, and Patxi’s Pizza in San Francisco.
When you order your pizza, don’t forget to tell the delivery boy to “Keep the change, ya filthy animal!”
This sounds great, but the real question is why is Uber delivering food? Personally, we’d like for them to focus on Taxi-related promotions. Next year, for the 40th anniversary of Taxi Driver, Uber should have drivers dress up as Travis Bickle, the mentally disturbed Robert De Niro character from the Martin Scorsese classic.
