The upcoming James Bond movie Skyfall is widely expected to be Daniel Craig‘s final 007 outing, and speculation is already rampant on the topic of his successor.
Could it be Idris Elba? Or perhaps Sam Worthington? Tom Hardy? Hugh Dancy? How about Michael Fassbender? He seems to be the consensus dream Bond actor right now, and one fan/Fassbender-as-007 advocate went so far as to make a faux trailer with the Oscar nominee playing the beloved superspy. Oh, and Christopher Nolan directing!
It’s pretty clear from the get-go that James Bond (working title) is a Nolan movie — mainly because most scenes are stolen from Nolan’s Inception and various Nolan-helmed Batman movies, and the Dark Knight Rises director’s moody score is instantly recognizable. At the very end, though, we get a glimpse at what it would sound like if Fassbender uttered the famous line “Bond. James Bond.” Check it out below!
