All of our Harry Potter dreams are coming true. For those of us who are utterly convinced our Hogwarts acceptance letters were mailed to the wrong address, the time has finally come. A real-life school of witchcraft and wizardry is opening in France next year! It may not be Hogwarts, but it’s definitely the next best thing if you’re a muggle.
Fans behind the Mimbulus Mimbletonia Association are opening a wizarding school specifically for muggles, you’ll just need to get yourself to Bourgougnague, France. That’s just a hop, skip and a fireplace away, right?
The school is accepting 100 aspiring witches and wizards to take four days of classes in May 2017. The students will live and eat at the dormitory (and because it’s like Hogwarts, we’re guessing everyone will be sorted into their proper houses). The only catch is that magic lessons will be taught in French, so if you don’t already speak the language, you’ve got six months to get cracking.
Tickets go on sale at the end of 2016. The price covers food and lodging for the trip, though there’s no word yet on how much it actually costs. If magic school is anything like college, be prepared to take out a couple of student loans.
The school’s website will post more information closer to the event, so snag a ticket when you can!
