Kim Kardashian’s champagne butt shot is a recreation of iconic 1976 picture

Kim Kardashian’s instantly iconic butt snaps taken for the upcoming issue of Paper magazine features one shot of the socialite and reality TV star recreating a famous champagne photograph of model Carolina Beaumont from 1976. Both pictures were taken by Jean-Paul Goude, who is also famous for shooting nude celebrities, including Naomi Campbell.
The shot features a bent-over Kardashian popping the cork on a champagne bottle and arcing the bubbly fizz into a glass perched on her sticking-out rear.
Reports suggest Kardashian agreed to the the eye-catching rear-end poses as a last hurrah before attempting to fall pregnant with her second child.
Her husband Kanye West is clearly a big fan of the images – the rapper reposted a tweet his wife sent out of one of the shots, writing, “ALLDAY (sic)”.
And Kardashian loves the Goude photo – she took to Twitter.com on Wednesday (12Nov14) and wrote, “And they say I didn’t have a talent… try balancing a champagne glass on your a**.”
