David Zayas’ Lennon movie shoot disrupted by speeding car

Dexter star David Zayas and the cast and crew of his new John Lennon film narrowly avoided injury during a shoot on Thursday (20Nov14) after a speeding car came barreling down a one-way street in New York. Just under 80 people were working on independent movie The Lennon Report, about the night the Beatles icon was killed, on location in Manhattan’s Gramercy neighbourhood when the car, which was travelling in the wrong direction, appeared out of nowhere.
However, the security guards onset were able to spring into action and managed to clear the road just in time, saving the whole group from injury, according to the New York Post’s Page Six column.
Argo actor Richard Kind, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 actress Stef Dawson and X-Men: Days of Future Past’s Evan Jonigkeit are also part of the cast.
