Retrospective: A Look Back at the ‘Two Coreys’ in Action

They were virtually unstoppable in their heyday, but more than 10 years ago Corey Feldman and Corey Haim parted ways after a successful run on the big screen. Just last year the unthinkable happened, the duo decided to team up for their own reality show, The Two Coreys. Now, their back for a second season starting June 22 and will star in their first feature film together since 1997, Lost Boys: The Tribe. In honor of the new season, let’s take a look back at our two favorite Coreys in action.

The Lost Boys (1987)
Characters:
Sam Emerson (Haim) and Edgar Frog (Feldman)
What Happens: When single mom Lucy Emerson moves to Santa Carla with her two boys Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam, she hopes to start a new life. Despite the gang violence around town, no one expects that an immortal evil might be lurking in the shadows. After Michael takes up with a motorcycle gang of bloodsucking vampires, Sam and his new friends Edgar and Alan Frog must do everything they can to save him.

License to Drive (1998)
Characters:
Les Anderson (Haim) and Dean (Feldman)
What Happens: Sixteen-year-old Les Anderson bombs his driving test, but can’t fess up to the failure to his friends or parents. Instead he pursues his lady love Mercedes (Heather Graham) in his grandfather’s prized cadillac and goes joy riding with his best friend Dean.

Dream a Little Dream (1989)
Characters:
Dinger Holefield (Haim) and Bobby Keller (Feldman)
What Happens: In the same vein as Freaky Friday, a high school student named Bobby and an elderly man named Coleman (Jason Robards) switch bodies by accident during a medidation exercise gone awry. While Coleman can’t wait to get back to his old life, Bobby refuses until the old man fixes his.

Blown Away (1992)
Characters:
Rich (Haim) and Wes (Feldman)
What Happens: A young woman on a downward spiral is convinced her father caused the car accident that killed her mother. As her wreckless behavior continues she ensnares the affections of a ski resort employee named Rich who quickly falls for the beauty. Little does he know he might be playing with fire.

Dream a Little Dream II (1995)
Characters:
 Dinger Holefield (Haim) and Bobby Keller (Feldman)
What Happens: Bobby and Dinger (now living in Los Angeles) receive a package in the mail from a deceased friend. Inside, they discover two pairs of magical sunglasses. It turns out that the wearer of one can control the actions of the person wearing the other.  [PAGEBREAK]

Busted (1997)
Characters:
Clifford (Haim) and David (Feldman)
What Happens: Police officers in the resort town of Amity put their own twist on law enforcement when they convert their station into a bordello. The cops-turned-hookers are in for a surprise after the mayor decides to hire a new captain to oversee the force. [PAGEBREAK]

The Two Coreys: Season 1 (2007) 
What Happens: Corey and Susie Feldman invite Corey Haim into their home for a scripted reality show similar to You, Me and Dupree. The down-to-earth couple quickly realizes they don’t always see eye-to-eye with their new houseguest. Together the old friends quit smoking, come to terms with the Lost Boys sequel and more. [PAGEBREAK]

The Two Coreys: Season 2 (2008)
What Happens: The Coreys abandon last season’s scripted/reality combo and show their true colors. The season kicks off as the two friends attempt to patch things up over coffee and even try couples counseling to try and restore their crumbling relationship.

Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008)
Characters:
 Sam Emerson (Haim) and Edgar Frog (Feldman)
What Happens: When two teens, Chris and Nicole, lose their parents in a car accident they are forced to move in with their aunt in vampire infested Luna Bay, Calif. Soon Nicole (Autumn Reeser) falls for a bloodsucker and Chris (Tad Hilgenbrink) must rely on the expertise of the Frog brothers to save her from a complete transformation.
