Actress Natasha Parry dies

British actress NATASHA PARRY has died, aged 84.
The star, who was married to film and theatre director Peter Brook, passed away on 22 July (15) after suffering a stroke while on holiday in La Baule, France.
Parry made her stage debut at the age of 12 and went on to appear in films including the 1968 adaptation of William Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet, the 1969 film musical Oh! What a Lovely War, directed by Lord Richard Attenborough, and Midnight Lace, opposite Doris Day.
She also appeared in TV shows Jackanory, You Know What People Are, and The Count of Monte Cristo.
Parry wed Brook in 1951 and she worked in a number of his stage productions, including Shakespeare’s King Lear.
They moved to France to live in the 1970s. Their two children Irina and Simon are both directors.
