After two walks down the aisle as a groomsman, Zach Galifianakis finally got his chance at center stage. The Hangover star reportedly wed his longtime girlfriend, ballerina turned philanthropist (she co-founded the charity Growing Voices) Quinn Lundberg, at an intimate ceremony in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday, Yahoo! News reports. The two had been quietly dating since at least 2010, and Lundberg often joined Galifianakis on the red carpet.
According to VancityBuzz.com, the ceremony took place at 4pm at UBC Farm in Vancouver. UBC Farm has not yet responded to Hollywood.com with confirmation, but their Web site reports that the farm was indeed closed at that time for a “private event.”
Yahoo! News reports that Galifianakis and his now-wife hosted their rehearsal dinner for 40 guests on Thursday night at the Tea House in Stanley Park. The Tea House confirms to Hollywood.com, “Zach did have a dinner function at our restaurant on Thursday night, but out of respect for our guests we cannot release any more information.”
Now that the two are reportedly newlyweds, we can start speculating about little Galifianakii. In his 2011 Rolling Stone profile, Galifianakis told the magazine, “I’ve been wanting kids for 10 years. I’d love to adopt, have them naturally — all of it. I want, like, 15.” If Galifianakis and Lundberg do have kids, let’s hope she’s the one wearing the Baby Bjorn.
Galifianakis’ rep has not responded to Hollywood.com’s request for comment.
