Superstar 1990s rapper Heavy D died on Tuesday in Beverly Hills. He was 44 years old.
The “Now That We Found Love” rapper (real name Dwight Arrington Myers) — who was also behind the theme song for In Living Color — reportedly died at a Beverly Hills-area hospital, following a 911 call from or near his home around 11:25 a.m. TMZ reports that Myers was conscious when paramedics arrived but passed away “a short time later.” The cause of death is not yet known.
Foul play is not currently suspected, but cops are busy investigating the death at Myers’ home.
Heavy D last performed exactly a month ago, Oct. 8, in Wales at a Michael Jackson tribute concert.
