Nicollette Sheridan, ‘Desperate Housewives’ Near Settlement?

Nicollette Sheridan‘s lawsuit against ABC and Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry might be nearing a conclusion.

The jury is deadlocked, but that would all be rendered moot if the two sides could agree on a financial settlement.

The suit, in which Sheridan alleges that she was wrongfully terminated and “assaulted,” has been a very nasty and very public one. Leaks have included Sheridan’s not-so-friendly feelings toward former costar Teri Hatcher and the shocking death of a major character during this season.
