Leah Remini: Sharon Osbourne Got Me Fired from ‘The Talk’

Leah ReminiYou’d think, just logically, that the wife of the King of Queens would outrank the wife of the Prince of Darkness. But apparently, Sharon Osbourne had a lot more power on The Talk than Leah Remini did. Former sitcom star Remini was one of the original hosts on the CBS daytime talk show, The Talk, along with Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, creator Sarah Gilbert and moderator Julie Chen. Last fall, Remini and Peete were removed suddenly from the cast, without much of an explanation. But now, according to Remini, it was Osbourne who got the pair fired.

Yesterday, Remini announced on Twitter that “Sharon said she asked 4 us to be fired,” referring to Osbourne’s recent interview with Howard Stern in which the reality star admitted to taking action against Remini and Robinson Peete.

Remini Tweeted, “Sharon thought me and Holly were ‘Ghetto’, (her words) we were not funny, awkward and didn’t know ourselves.” However, Remini has expressed an interest in clearing the air with Osbourne, writing, “No one is perfect, including me. This is a waste of time. I will not respond to Sharon BUT only to say this, IF she wanted to clear it up…she has my number & has had ALL this time and didnt use it.not even to say she was sorry.”

The discussion was closed with “So to Sharon I say… Well done Sharon, you won. I will move on now as you suggested. And so should u. Be at Peace.” Robinson Peete has yet to comment.
