“Little monsters” rejoice! The House of Gucci press tour began with a bang on November 9th in London. As the cast posed for photos on the red carpet, all eyes were on Lady Gaga, who dazzled the crowd with her elegance and power.
House of Gucci follows the union of fashion mogul Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) and Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) and the betrayal and revenge that leads to Maurizio’s murder. Salma Hayek, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, and Al Pacino also star.
To celebrate the House of Gucci premiere, here are our favorite Lady Gaga looks of all time.
Fave Lady Gaga looks: House of Gucci London premiere
The first look is Lady Gaga at the House of Gucci U.K. premiere. The pop singer turned actress sparkled with royalty and a touch of sex appeal donned in a sheer purple Gucci (natch) dress. She paired the gown with fishnet stockings, black platform boots, sheer black gloves, a sparkly choker and diamond earrings, and a dramatic purple cape. Lady Gaga even had matching purple eyeshadow to complete the look!
While we are obsessed with the tribute to Gucci, we’re even more thrilled with the daring slit in the dress. Lady Gaga always knows how to make an entrance, and she blew us all away with this punk but classic purple number.
Lady Gaga also posed with her co-stars Adam Driver, Salma Hayek, and Jared Leto.
Let’s just say these photos hold way too much star power. And everyone is looking their finest!
Fave Lady Gaga looks: MTV VMA’s meat dress
Who can ever forget Lady Gaga’s iconic meat dress from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards? The superstar arrived on the award show red carpet in a dress made from raw beef designed by Franc Fernandez. The outfit brought controversy, with several different animal rights groups condemning the dress while other people were confused by this choice.
Lady Gaga reflected on why she wore the meat dress in a video with British Vogue:
“I was speaking with my artistic friends about if we wanted to make any statements while we were at the MTV Video Music Awards. We did want to make a statement because, at the time, they were trying to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. We decided to do the meat dress because I thought to myself, ‘If you are willing to die for your country, what does it matter how you identify?’”
As one of the most memorable moments of the 2010 MTV VMA’s, this dress has impacted pop culture history.
Fave Lady Gaga looks: American Horror Story wardrobe
Lady Gaga embodied the essence of a bloodthirsty vampire with a fashionable wardrobe in American Horror Story: Hotel. Season five of AHS centers around the mysterious Hotel Cortez in L.A. which is overseen by a blood-sucking Countess (Lady Gaga). Costume Designer Lou Eyrich found looks that would match a vintage Golden Hollywood style with a modern twist.
One beautiful look comes from designer Valerj Pobega. It is a hand-painted black gown with metallic gold and oversized winged sleeves.
The next iconic look is a fuchsia dress designed by Micahel Costello. Lou Eyrich added some last-minute embellishments like a snake pendant. Jewelry designer Michael Schmidt created the gorgeous glove that features Swarovski crystals.
Fave Lady Gaga looks: 2019 Met Gala
Lady Gaga put on a full performance as one of the hosts of the 2019 Met Gala. Since the theme that year was “Camp,” the singer first entered in a pink cape designed by Brandon Maxwell with a pink bow and intense eye makeup. She removed the cape to reveal a corseted black dress and then undressed it into a hot pink gown. Finally, Lady Gaga stripped to a crystal bra with undergarments and tights, and sunglasses.
While the looks were fantastic, the best part was the way she presented each one. You can watch the unique performance art below:
Fave Lady Gaga looks: 2019 Oscars
When Lady Gaga was nominated for A Star is Born at the 2019 Oscars, she flawlessly walked the red carpet in an Alexander McQueen black dress. The whole look was a homage to the iconic Audrey Hepburn since Lady Gaga wore a Tiffany Diamond, black gloves, and she put her hair in a Breakfast at Tiffany’s style updo. She went on to win her first Oscar for Best Original Song for “Shallow.”
As Lady Gaga accepted her award with poise, she shined in the beautiful black gown.
