Evelyn Lozada is officially back on the market. Lozada’s attorney tells Hollywood.com that the Basketball Wives star and her husband, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, are officially divorced as of Wednesday.
“Evelyn and Mr. Johnson were divorced this morning in an uncontested final hearing,” he says. “My client is a single woman and looks forward to her future.”
Lozada filed for divorce a month ago after Johnson was thrown in jail for allegedly headbutting her. Now, Johnson is not only looking for a new lady, but a new career — following the domestic dispute, VH1 canceled his and Lozada’s reality show, and Johnson was let go from the Miami Dolphins. If only he could have another go at TV fame on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars.
