You know him best as the comedian with the most distinctive voice in the business, but Bobcat Goldthwait is more than a perfomer. He’s also an accomplished screenwriter and director with oodles of television and film credits to his name. Pop-rocker Matt Nathanson sought Goldthwait out to direct the video for the second single of his album Last of the Great Pretenders and told Rolling Stone that it’s “far and away” his favorite he’s ever done. Check out the clip for “Kinks Shirt” and keep an eye out for a cameo by the director himself and see if you can guess the twist ending. Here’s a hint: pronouns can be misleading.
