For those unfamiliar with Camelot, the musical tells the story of King Arthur and his quest to create a utopian society based on the principles of chivalry, honor, and love. The show premiered on Broadway in 1960 and has since become a beloved classic. Camelot was the much anticipated follow up from the iconic duo Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe after My Fair Lady.

The Current Revival of Camelot and Upcoming Cast Recording
Camelot is bringing a lot to the table on stage and also off stage with the direction and production team. David Caddick and David Lai are producing the revival album. It will feature the songs from Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe. Also, fans can expect original orchestrations by Robert Russell Bennett and Philip J. Lang along with original choral arrangements by Trude Rittman. Bartlett Sher is directing this current revival, and the book has been updated by Academy and Emmy Award winning writer Aaron Sorkin.
