Taylor Swift is currently in a legal battle with radio show host David Mueller, who she claims lifted up her skirt and grabbed her butt during a meet and greet. Even though sensitive photos of the incident show Taylor clearly uncomfortable, Mueller maintains the fact that he never touched her.
Swift says that in 2013, the former on-air personality “reached up under my skirt and grabbed my ass right when I was having to pose for a photo.” Mueller continues to deny her claims and shared his side of the story during an interview with Mojo In The Morning.
“I’ve never had my day in court. I’ve never been inappropriate with a woman in my life. I want my reputation back,” he said.
“I was looking at the photographer and I tried to get my right hand, you know, behind Taylor, because [Mueller’s girlfriend] Shannon [Melcher] was on the other side … My other hand was, I think, was just on my belt or on my pocket … I’ve got my hand closed and my palm down and I reach behind, toward Taylor … Our hands touched and our arms crossed. My hand was never under her skirt. I never grabbed her. My hand was not open,” he continued.
Let’s remember that Mueller brought the legal battle on himself. Swifty was merely counter-suing after Mueller lost his job and decided to sue her for libel. There’s also not a whole lot of people on Mueller’s side. Swift’s security guard Greg Dent said that the photo only shows the moment after the incident.
“Well, before the photo was taken is when I saw him go to put his arm around her and him lift up her skirt. She reacted, pushed her skirt down, and jumped to the side and went closer to the girl that was with him,” he said.
Which side are you on? We’ve got to take the side of Swift, who has nothing to gain by filing this lawsuit in the first place.
