Let’s face it. America has fallen for Chris Pratt. From Parks and Rec’s lovable (yet oblivious) Andy Dwyer/Johnny Karate/Burt Macklin, FBI to hunky space adventurer Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy, Pratt has won over our hearts with his quick-witted humor, his impressive talent and that adorable smile. Here’s a look at Pratt’s career evolution from TV star to beloved A-lister!
2002 – 2006: Everwood (Bright Abbott)
Everwood, a drama that aired on The WB, was one of Chris Pratt’s first big TV roles. Check out this sweet (and slightly awkward) clip of Baby Chris playing Bright Abbott.
2006 – 2007: The O.C. (Ché)
Pratt also appeared in the cult classic teen soap opera, The O.C., for about a year. This interesting clip shows that his musical talents were present even in his early career.
2009: Bride Wars (Fletcher)
Did you know that Pratt was in the 2009 chick-flick starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson? Probably not. He plays Hathaway’s boyfriend, Fletcher, who is SUPER boring (but cute all the while!) See if you can spot him in this Bride Wars trailer.
2010: Moneyball (Scott Hatteberg)
If this clip doesn’t make you say “awww”, nothing will! Pratt gets his ‘home run’ on in the critically-acclaimed movie, Moneyball.
2011 – 2015: Parks and Recreation (Andy Dwyer)
Parks and Rec showcases one of Pratt’s most notable (and funny) roles. Andy Dwyer was originally meant to be in one or two episodes, but gained permanent residency in both Pawnee and our hearts.
2012: Zero Dark Thirty (Justin)
A bearded Pratt can be spotted alongside Jessica Chastain in the 2012 thriller, Zero Dark Thirty, which was nominated for multiple Academy Awards after it’s release.
2013: Her (Paul)
While Joaquin Phoenix fawns over an electronic Scarlett Johansson, Chris Pratt is the other dude who is with a real life girl.
2013: Delivery Man (Brett)
Chris Pratt + adorable kids = LOTS of cuteness.
2014: The Lego Movie (Emmet)

Pratt’s career struck gold thanks to a few tiny toys. He voiced Emmet in the lovable Lego movie and EVERYTHING about his performance IS AWESOME!
2014: Guardians of the Galaxy (Peter Quill)
Inarguably, one of Pratt’s biggest big-screen breaks was as a heroically witty space explorer. The role was no joke. He worked hard and got into serious shape!
2015: Jurassic Word (Owen)
If he can battle galactic creatures, he can do anything. Last year, Pratt won our hearts over in the Jurassic revival. Best raptor wrangler EVER.
