You don’t hear much bout Monk by way of cast controversies or tabloid sensationalism, but the comedy about an OCD detective, in its 5th season, is a cult-hit that always gains considerable attention come awards season.
Tonight, not-so-intelligent Lt. Disher inherits a farm when a family member commits suicide. But when he starts to think that foul play or possibly a murder has taken place, Monk joins him in the country to investigate. Tony Shalhoub’s real life wife, Brooke Adams, guest stars.
