There are some good villains in the Marvel universe that may look frightening and have crazy abilities. That all makes for a great comic book and action movie, but Jessica Jones found the villain that could really get under your skin. Yes, he might have a stupid name but Kilgrave is the most terrifying Marvel villain and here are 12 reasons why!
1. Women not only have to deal with violence but his catcalling.
2. Torturing is not enough. He demands to be loved by his victims too.
3. He is pretty much a normal looking man, which takes down most people’s defenses.
4. He plays victim way too well, which is really confusing.
5. Even when he can’t use his supernatural powers…he can.
6. He can walk out of a police station with a human head like it’s nothing.
7. Or walk into anyone’s house and turn them into his slave.
8. If you do actually fight back he just finds it fun.
9. His mission is hardly ever to kill people, but to mentally tear them apart.
10. He never feels the need to be responsible for his actions.
11. He gaslights people making them question their memory, sanity, and whether he’s actually evil.
12. On a smaller scale he is real and we meet Kilgraves every day.
