With the new news that Hogwarts is basically a real school, prepare to have your mind blown even further. This very real wand is available through Amazon (to be delivered by drone or owl, we’re not quite sure).
This incredible wand will replace your boring, standard Muggle TV remote. It offers nine different commands including “the Flick Up,” “the Flick Down” and “the Big Swish.” Not only can you use this to flick through the endless amount of channels TV seems to have, but you can program it to work with other electronic devices as long as they use an infrared remote. Yes, that means you can theoretically play Xbox and PlayStation with a Harry Potter wand! Oh the possibilities. TV-watching just got a whole lot more magical. Netflix and spell?

There’s only a couple downsides to this wand. Reviewers are largely thrilled with the product, but it’s a bit hard to program. Also, it won’t be summoned by say “accio,” meaning we still have to get up off of our lazy butts to find it (likely stuck somewhere in the couch where remotes tend to hide and hopefully not inside platform nine and three quarters). Boo. A muggle can dream, though.
