It’s official the ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut is coming to HBO Max

Small history lesson:

Zack Snyder directed both Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and was set to be the director behind the Justice League film, but after a family tragedy, he backed out after principal photography. Joss Whedon came in to save the day and finish it, but as it turns out, it wasn’t Snyder’s original vision. People began to wonder what his film would have been like. Then it came out that Zack had his own cut and it was up to Warner Bros…

That’s when the internet got involved, including Gal Gadot tweeting one thing;

Fans would start a petition getting thousands of signatures, but who knows if the executives heard? They did and the internet fanboys plan worked.

Today Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill had a live commentary of Man of Steel and casually mentioned the cut would be released, and in an official press release, HBO Max confirmed a 2021 release.

Now let’s hope its actually good and worthwhile.
