Filmmaker STEPHEN MILBURN ANDERSON has died, aged 67.
The South Central director lost his battle with throat cancer in Denver, Colorado on Friday (01May15).
Milburn gave Thor star Chris Hemsworth his big break in the U.S. when he cast him in 2010’s Ca$h. He also earned acclaim for his short film, Hearts Of Stone, which was nominated for a Golden Hugo award at the Chicago International Film Festival in 1989.
His nomination led to a collaboration with Oliver Stone, who served as a producer on South Central.
