‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Creates Classy Character Portraits — GALLERY

Ah, a painted portrait of a modern day subject — kind of makes you want to throw on a monocle and declare your grandson’s viola composition rawther derivative.

The Hunger Games franchise is really amping up the class with its new batch of character posters, dubbed “Capitol Couture.” Yanking the Catching Fire cast out of the leaves and mud, the new collection of photos allows us to furrow our bushy eyebrows and stroke our high-button collars at the depictions of Katniss and company sitting pretty in the form of elegant portraits.
